RECIPE CONVERSION GUIDE

Hey guys, I've put this up as a guide for those of you who prefer to measure in cups. These measurements are from my own kitchen, they're the measurements I use when I bake the cupcakes you see in my videos. I use a metric, 250ml measuring cup. For the 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 measurments I just rounded it off to the nearest measurement.

Invest in a pair of kitchen scales
Kitchen Scales: Guys. I will INSIST, till my dying breath that everyone uses grams in baking recipes! Cup measurements in Australia for example are different to the ones in America which makes them a completely 100% INACCURATE way to measure when baking. Baking is a science. A recipe must be followed exactly, otherwise you risk there being an imbalance of ingredients and chemicals such as raising agents can't do their job properly. If you pick up a book from a french pastry chef for example you will NOT find a single thing in there measured in cups. EVERYTHING is in grams. The majority of the world uses grams. You're welcome to use the recipe conversion guide above. Even better though: Invest in a pair of kitchen scales!
ALTERNATIVELY

Please note: I am not selling these scales and am not making a profit from them. These are similar to the scales I use in my kitchen and can be purchased on Amazon or you can find similar ones from your local kitchen supply store
